Help Us to Help You

We aim to offer you an appointment with a Doctor within 48 hours and where appropriate with a Nurse within 24 hours.  If you make an appointment, please keep that appointment and try to arrive on time.  We cannot guarantee that the Doctor or Nurse will be able to see you if you arrive late – since they will have other patients booked.  This ensures smooth running of the Practice.

Keep it or Cancel it!

Every month lots of appointments are wasted by people not turning up.  If you no longer want your appointment please cancel it.  Someone else who is ill may need that appointment!  Our staff try to be calm and polite, please remember they are only carrying out the rules of the Practice.  Please offer the staff the same courtesy.

Policy on Violent or Abusive Patients

We aim to treat our patients courteously at all times and expect our patients to treat our staff in a similarly respectful way. We take seriously any threatening, abusive or violent behaviour against any of our staff or patients. If a patient is violent or abusive, they will be warned to stop their behaviour. If they persist, we may exercise our right to take action to have them removed, immediately if necessary, from our list of patients. (Zero Tolerance)

Change of Details

If you change your name, address or contact details (such as your telephone number or email address), please let us know as soon as possible so that we can update our records. Proof will be needed, i.e. passport, driving licence or proof of new address.  If you are receiving treatment at a hospital it might also be a good idea to inform them of any changes so that both our records are consistent when we communicate with them.
