Repeat Prescriptions

How to get a Repeat Prescription

We have a computerised repeat prescription service. Repeat prescriptions are normally for patients with long-term conditions who receive regular treatment. Your doctor (or nurse practitioner) will decide who can have a repeat prescription. From time to time we will ask you to see your doctor (nurse practitioner) to review your medication. We do this to monitor your illness and medication.

There is a tear off repeat prescription slip with your prescription; you will need to tick the items that you need to order on the slip. Please bring that slip to the surgery allowing 48 hours for collection/completion (Not including Saturday, Sunday or Bank holidays). Alternatively you may post your repeat prescription slip with a stamped self addressed envelope and we will post it back to you (Remember if you do this please allow a few days for the post).

Unfortunately we cannot take telephone requests for repeat prescriptions because of the possibility of error.
